The Marketplace does not constitute a formal list or register of preservation service providers, but serves as a showcase where Public Administrations can more easily identify providers of compliant digital records preservation services and initiate the subsequent contracting phase.
Registration is open from January 1, 2022, through the procedures provided on this dedicated platform. Here, the provider will attest, by means of a self-certification issued in compliance with Presidential Decree (DPR) 445/2000, the possession of quality, security, and organizational requirements, a necessary condition for the provision of preservation services on behalf of the Public Administration.
Administrations entrusting digital records preservation services to entities not included in the List of Registered Providers are required to transmit the relevant contracts to AgID within thirty days of signing. This allows the Agency to carry out verification activities regarding the general requirements as well as the quality, security, and organizational requirements set out in Annex A of the Regulation.
